Is it working? I have totally forgotten about it, honestly. Today, I stumbled by this article at The Jakarta Post -
Rights of non smokers. I’ve done my part by text-messaging an idea on how to basically make the law works. I do believe in *kesadaran diri* .. tapi apabila masyarakatnya (gak semuanya ya dink) punya attitude *emang gw pikirin* ataw *suka-suka gw kale* … the law will never be implied.

So why not belajar dari negara tetangga? Pajak untuk produsen rokok dinaekin setinggi mungkin sehingga harga rokok otomatis harus naek sehingga hampir tidak memungkinkan penduduk untuk merokok yang banyak. Dengan cara seperti ini yang pendapatannya rendah akan dapat mengurangi kebiasaan merokok nya. Yang pendapatannya tinggi pun mungkin mikir 2 kali sebelum membeli rokok.

Gw gak bisa ngerti kenapa perokok mau-mau nya merusak paru-paru mereka sendiri dengan merokok. (Perokok : suka-suka gw kale.)

Apalagi yg merokok di dalam rumah atau gedung. (Perokok : emank gw pikirin?)

Urgh! To all smokers… Please kick off your addictions to cigarettes. Love yourself more and you should quit now if you love your family even more than yourself. No excuses. No ifs, no buts, no suka-suka gw kale.

Only some cigarette companies have placed small-sized warnings on the dangers of smoking on their packaging. Indonesia also does not have any regulation banning advertisements, sponsors, promotions on cigarette and tobaccos in media or indoor and outdoor spaces.

Well yeah, I couldn’t have agreed more. Cigarettes company has always been the biggest sponsors in a lot of events. Misal : A Mild and Djarum Black. *Geleng-geleng*
